Heart Attack Breakfast

This morning we found a shop that specialises in toast. Yep thats right, toast. Nikala had a big thick slab of toast slathered in peanut butter, whilst I had something they referred to as "traditional toast". The description on the menu reads:
"Freshly toasted bread with soft melting traditional nanyang kaya coconut sugar + honey and butter inside... need we say more?"
No, no you need say no more, I will try this splendid, though sweet, sounding delight! We ordered and settled back waiting for our first non fruit based breakfast for 3 weeks. When it arrived at the table I was a little taken aback by the slab of butter - which was decidedly not melting, that was wedged inside my toastie.


We have spent today pottering around the shops and malls and tonight we are going to go and find the night market over in Kowloon. Tomorrow we are hopefully going to be touring the harbour in a sampan, or we may go and visit a giant bronze Buddha via cable car, maybe both. We'll keep you posted!
